| African leaders agree to increase Somalia force 061221-N-1328C-156 Camp Lemonier, Djibouti (December 21, 2006) - Abjubaker Hassan Hanifa, a member of the special brigade of the Djiboutian national police, practices charging with his rifle during a three-day training on a range of topics from basic weapons procedures to room clearing at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. The brigade is in charge of security of the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti. The instructors are currently deployed to the 5th Provisional Security Company. The 5th PSC is responsible for the security at Camp Lemonier, home of the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a unit of United States Central Command. The organization's mission is to prevent conflict, promote regional stability and protect Coalition interests in order to prevail against extremism. More than 1,500 people from each branch of the U.S. military, civilian employees, Coalition forces and Partner nations make up the organization.
